Last week, we gathered at the Union League of Philadelphia for our much-anticipated seminar on CNG conversions. The seminar brought top natural gas, financial, and infrastructure experts together to lead three panel discussions exploring technical, strategic, financial, and operational factors of CNG conversions.

After a keynote address from Craig White, President and CEO of PGW, our attendees heard from industry leaders during the day’s three panels. The complete list of panels with corresponding participants is as follows:

  1. The myths and truths of conversions: What it takes and how to manage it. A firsthand account of the pain and gain of CNG conversion, explained by companies that have either converted or are in the process of converting. Moderated by Jorge Peleaz of Boeninng & Scattergood, speakers included:
  1. If you build it, they will come: The infrastructure challenge. Representatives from top CNG vendors provided a detailed how-to on how municipalities and fleets can build a successful CNG infrastructure. Moderated by Sheila Hollis of Duane Morris, speakers included:

3. Financing conversion and infrastructure: A dollars and sense approach. The third and final panel of the day covered the financing options available for CNG conversions, including state and federal funds, and private equity capital. Moderated by Jorge Peleaz of Boeninng & Scattergood, with panelists:
