Greg Matusky is President and founder of Gregory FCA, a top 50 national public relations and investor relations firm, serving private and publicly traded companies throughout the country. A former business writer, whose work has appeared in Inc., Forbes and Newsweek magazines, Mr. Matusky began his career in public relations working for Conoco, which at the time was the world’s eighth largest energy company. During his career, Mr. Matusky has worked for a range of energy companies and utilities. For the past two years, his company, which is based in Pennsylvania, has been benchmarking public sentiment in traditional and social media for Marcellus Shale and natural gas development against a range of alternative energy options. Mr. Matusky has worked on a range of highly sensitive public opinion issues, including eminent domain, carbon containment, energy management and infrastructure development. His firm has worked with and for a number of Global 1,000 companies, including Unisys, EQT, SAP, Mitsubishi Electronics, FedEx, and Kimco.
Mr. Matusky is the author of four business related books, and he is a 1983 graduate of the University of Pennsylvania’s Annenberg School of Communications. Mr. Matusky is an active speaker on public relations and public opinion, and recently moderated a panel consisting of social media editors and reporters from The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Forbes and USA Today. Mr. Matusky has served as a media spokesperson in range of high profile events, including the acquisition of the Philadelphia Eagles Football Team and is regular contributor on his own blog as well as in the media.
